Hollywood motion star Dwayne Johnson has mentioned that his upcoming DC movie, Black Adam is more likely to go on flooring by the end of summer.
The movie is a spin-off from Warner Bros and New Line Cinema’s Shazam!, that includes Zachary Levi.
Johnson, who has been connected to play the anti-hero for nearly a decade, shared the replace in an Instagram Q&A session.
Asked in regards to the standing of the movie, the actor mentioned, “We plan on shooting probably at the end of summer now. Probably pushed maybe into August, maybe September.”
Johnson was in the course of production on Netflix movie Red Notice, however its shoot was suspended in March because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Johnson mentioned he’s excited to start engaged on Black Adam, for which he began coaching in January.
“I have been training so hard for months and months and months for Black Adam. And that is a passion project for me. It is a role that I hold near and dear to my DNA. So, I can’t wait,” he mentioned.
Black Adam first appeared in DC Comics within the 1940s as a villain corrupted by energy. The character grew to become an anti-hero within the early 2000s.
Jaume Collet-Serra, who collaborated with Johnson on Jungle Cruise, is connected to direct.
The movie is ready to hit theaters December 22, 2021.
